DGTL ADE 2024

DESCRIPTION

During DGTL ADE 2024, I assisted lead editor Cas Velthuis across a diverse range of social edits, trailers and more. The work was fast-moving and varied from shaping individual clips for social platforms to contributing to larger editorial decisions across the project. I was involved in sound design, spotting and contributed to the filming of the Bonobo and Colyn aftermovies. On the editorial side I helped cut the official trailer and the Weeks to Go edits. Being on the ground at DGTL ADE gave the work a different kind of weight you feel the energy of what you are cutting when you have just lived it. Working in this environment taught me what fast turnaround truly means: cutting with real pressure, adapting quickly and delivering to a high standard without losing creative focus.
